I must admit, it is a pleasure to be able to enjoy all of the seasons Colorado has to offer. I have lived here for about 15 years and I am still amazed by nature's beauty and the ever changing panoramas that surround me. I know every state boasts that " if you don't like the weather here, wait ten minutes" but where can you go that is mid 80's in the valley and snowing in the mountains? All in the month of July. I hope everyone that visits Colorado enjoys it as much as I do and puts as much effort into preserving it's beauty. I invariably bring back more trash and discarded debris from my outings than I ever take with me. Stay, play, and enjoy, Terry

We were married in Yankee Boy Basin near Ouray--peak wildflower time and great memories. We now store a motor home near Montrose and return annually. We have hiked several of the mountains plus we have a Jeep that we take off road. My husband is a professor so we have full summers out West. I am a RN and am looking to find conferences to attend in Montrose or near there(i.e. Grand Junction) If anyone out there has any suggestions, please email me.

As a young boy I used to spend time each summer in Grand Junction with relatives. Mesa county and Western Colorado possess some of God's finest creations of natural beauty! I've recently returned home after several years in the Air Force and it is my goal to proactively protect our state's natural resources by serving Western Colorado in the U.S. House of Representatives. Your website helps me to focus even furhter on the environmental issues I am fighting for! Sincerely, Anthony Martinez Candidate for US Congress 3rd Congressional District of Colorado

My family is interested in spending a week in the Grand Junction area. We've found a lot of information about attractions and motels, but can't find anything about cabins/condos to rent. We're looking for a clean, moderatly priced place that can accomodate 2 adults, 1 child, and 1 30-lb dog (crate trained). Any suggestions?

As sports editor of the Daily Sentinel way back in 1957-1961, I really enjoyed wonderful western Colorado. Now 75 and long retired, I'm thinking of returning to live out my days in the valley.

Will be visiting relatives in Grand Junction soon. Need information on easy access nature trails, non-routine places to visit, etc. that would be easy to handle in a wheelchair. Want to be able to get out of the house but have accessibility problems. Thanks for any help you can give us.
